Holidays Return to Walt Disney World Nov. 6

Magic Kingdom 2019 Holiday Decorations

From November 6th to December 30th, Walt Disney World guests will be able to enjoy holiday decor, themed merchandise, seasonal food and beverage offerings and entertainment at all four of the theme parks; Disney Springs and at the Disney Resorts! Santa will even be there to wave and call out holiday wishes to all.

At the Magic Kingdom, character cavalcades will have a holiday flare to them plus Christmas friends normally seen at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (which will not be returning this year due to physical distancing guidelines) will be appearing! You can expect to see the Gingerbread men; elves; reindeer; and the Toy Soldiers as part of the cavalcades. At night there will be festive projections upon Cinderella Castle providing guests with various holiday-themed backdrop for their photos, instead of the Castle Dream Lights.

At Epcot, starting November 27th holiday festival booths will return around World Showcase for the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays.   At World ShowPlace guests can enjoy the group, JOYFUL!, who will sing Christmas and holiday music. The Voices of Liberty will found performing favorite carols and songs of the season at the America Gardens Theatre stage.  The Candlelight Processional will unfortunately not be returning this year due to the large crowds it draws.

At Disney's Hollywood Studios guests will experience merry motorcades throughout the park.  At Hollywood and Vine, Minnie Mouse will be hosting a holiday character experience meal with her friends, including Santa Goofy and more in their holiday best starting November 6th, .

At Disney Springs, guests can expect elaborately-decorated Disney Christmas trees spread throughout the retail, dining and entertainment destination. At night, certain areas will even experience snow!  Jock Lindsey's Holiday Bar will re-open, complete with delightful holiday décor and a delicious limited-time menu filled with festive favorites.

Disney Resorts

Last, but certainly not least, the Disney Resort hotels will also be decked out for the holidays, with their lobbies featuring iconic trees and other festive flourishes. Unfortunately, the gingerbread displays will not be returning to the Resort hotels this year due to physical distancing guidelines.
