 The magic of the holidays returns to Disney Cruise Line in the fall of 2022 with Halloween on the High Seas and Very Merrytime Cruises across the fleet, including the first fall season on the all-new Disney Wish. Fall 2022 cruises will depart from Florida, New York, Texas and California - giving guests many opportunities to experience holidays at sea with Disney Cruise Line. Halloween on the High Seas returns to Disney Cruise Line in mid-September through October 2022. On select sailings across the fleet, guests can dress up and join Disney characters in their Halloween costumes at Mickey’s Mouse-querade Party; enjoy themed food, beverages and crafts; and immerse themselves in a ghostly ship takeover with elaborate decor and a magical Pumpkin Tree. The Disney Wonder will host three-, four-, five- and seven-night vacations from southern California in late September, allowing guests to celebrate the Halloween season at sea while taking in the mesmerizing beauty of Mexico. The Disney Magic will return to New York in late September for a series of Halloween on the High Seas sailings to Bermuda and Canada. Guests can visit Bermuda’s pink sand beaches and colorful coral reefs on five-night vacations or set their sights for a special six-night cruise to the Canadian ports of New Brunswick and Halifax that includes a stop in Bar Harbor, Maine.  From early November through December, the Disney Cruise Line ships are decked from bow-to-stern with holiday cheer and entertainment during Very Merrytime Cruises. Holiday magic is unwrapped for the whole family with festive holiday decor, favorite characters in their finest holiday attire and a special visit from none other than Santa Claus.
The Disney Magic will sail out of San Juan, Puerto Rico, for two special itineraries in early November. A seven-night southern Caribbean sailing will visit Antigua, St. Lucia, Aruba and Bonaire, while a following six-night voyage will feature stops in St. Thomas and Falmouth, Jamaica. In late November, the Disney Magic will visit Galveston, Texas, for a variety of five- and seven-night Very Merrytime Cruises. Guests can experience the magic of the holidays on western Caribbean itineraries with ports of call that include Cozumel and Progreso, Mexico; Falmouth, Jamaica; and Grand Cayman. The Disney Wish will continue its inaugural season with its first-ever fall and holiday sailings, offering a series of three- and four-night voyages to the Bahamas. The Disney Fantasy will offer six-, seven- and eight-night vacations to the Eastern and Western Caribbean. The Disney Dream will take guests on four- and five-night Bahamian itineraries and five-night Caribbean cruises to either Grand Cayman or Cozumel, Mexico. All sailings from Port Canaveral and Miami will include a stop at Castaway Cay, Disney’s private island paradise outfitted for family fun and relaxation and brimming with special Disney touches. The fireworks will turn to Walt Disney World Resort in Florida on July 1 at Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT. “Happily Ever After” will transform Cinderella Castle with lights, projections and pyrotechnics, as moments from favorite Disney stories encourage you to grab hold of your dreams and make them come true. At EPCOT, “EPCOT Forever” will produce a spectacle of fireworks, music and lighting effects over World Showcase Lagoon, highlighting the themes of innovation, exploration, imagination and celebration at the core of the park’s past, present and future. As Disneyland park in California welcomes back all guests, “Mickey’s Mix Magic” starts July 4th and will be presented nightly throughout the summer. State-of-the-art projections, show lighting and lasers will transform Main Street, U.S.A., Sleeping Beauty Castle and the façade of “it’s a small world” into a dazzling, family fun dance party that goes sky high with fireworks to celebrate the leader of the club, Mickey Mouse. Disneyland Resort is also making changes for Guests, effective June 15, in conjunction with the reopening of California’s economy.
Guest Experience Starting June 15th out-of-state Guests are now welcome. On-site temperature checks will be discontinued on June 15th as well. Guests will also determine physical distancing as the state of California has removed any requirements for this. Face Coverings for Guests Starting June 15, face coverings will no longer be required for fully vaccinated Guests both indoors and outdoors. Guests (ages 2 and up) who are not fully vaccinated must continue wearing face coverings indoors, except when dining. While Guests will not be required to show proof of vaccination, vaccinated Guests will self-attest that they are in compliance prior to entry. In addition, all Guests will need to attest that they are aware of the State of California’s strong recommendation that guests be fully vaccinated or receive a negative COVID-19 test prior to entering the theme parks when making their Disneyland Resort theme park reservations. When the Toy Story parking lot reopens on June 18, all Guests (ages 2 and up) regardless of vaccination status will be required to wear an appropriate face covering while on the bus transportation from the lot to the parks. Theme Park Reservations As Disneyland Resort continues to welcome Guests back to the theme parks, guests will need to make a reservation to enter through the reservation system, which was implemented due to capacity limits when the parks reopened. Walt Disney World Resort will be making more adjustments to their existing health an safety measures. These adjustments include modifications to physical distancing and face coverings requirements.
Beginning June 15 the following changes will take place (Guests must observe current policies on face coverings until June 15): FACE COVERINGS Face coverings will be optional for fully vaccinated Guests in most areas. Face coverings will still be required of all Guests on Disney transportation, including Disney buses, monorails and Disney Skyliner. Proof of vaccination will not be required however, guests who are not fully vaccinated are expected to continue wearing face coverings in all indoor locations, and upon entering and throughout all attractions and transportation. PHYSICAL DISTANCING Physical distancing guidelines will be relaxed. This will be visible in places like queues, shops, restaurants, attraction boarding, transportation and in theaters. It’s important to remember that some experiences and entertainment may still be operating with limited capacity or may remain temporarily unavailable. Not everything will be back just yet, but we all look forward to the day when we are able to hug our Disney friends once again. CLEANING The high standards for cleanliness and sanitation will continue. Cleaning supplies and hand sanitizer stations will still be available throughout Walt Disney World Resort.
