Two Walt Disney World Resort hotel restaurants are reopening! Story Book Dining at Artist Point, inspired by the Disney film “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” will reopen December 16th at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. At this Character Dining experience, Guests will enter the Enchanted Forest to see Snow White, Dopey, Grumpy, and The Queen while enjoying a bountiful prix fixe dinner with the choice of individually plated entrées and shared starters and desserts. Start your storybook adventure by quenching your thirst with creative and fun cocktails (and mocktails) and a variety of beers in bottles and on draft. One fun cocktail is the Enchanted Apple, a refreshing cocktail with a hint of sour apple. A wine list with a focus on the most highly rated wines from Oregon and Washington State rounds out the beverage menu. Begin the storybook-themed dining experience with shared appetizers including Hunter’s Terrine, Wild Mushroom Bisque and Wicked Shrimp Cocktail. The spectacular dinner offers a choice of individual plated entrées and shared starters and desserts including favorites such as the Royal Prime Rib Roast and the vegetarian A Stroll Through Nature - featuring asparagus, leeks, arugula and gnocchi. End your dining experience with the a decadent dessert trio of "Poison" Apple dessert with dark chocolate-apple mousse, the Fairy Tale Gooseberry Tart and Miner’s Treasures. Boatwright’s Dining Hall at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, will resume serving up Southern specialties for dinner starting December 14th. Sample the tantalizing flavors of the Louisiana bayou on the All-You-Care-To-Enjoy Chef's Platter—featuring such ribs, Nashville hot chicken, smoked sausage, beef brisket with corn, mashed potatoes, green beans, and mac and cheese. Keep rollin' down the river with a helping of prime rib and deep-south shrimp and grits. For dessert, Mississippi Mud Crème Brûlée weaves its sweet magic. Carnival-worthy cocktails is available to revelers 21 years of age and older, as is a kids’ menu for little ones. La Crêperie de Paris is now taking reservations for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Tucked away in the new section of the France pavilion at EPCOT, this table restaurant serves savory galettes and sweet dessert crêpes, along with some of Brittany’s famous hard ciders. Guests can order from the prix fixe menu with the choice of soup of the day or salade maison; choice of one galette with a glass of hard cider, soda, or juice; choice of one dessert crêpe. Reservations for both Story Book Dining at Artist Point and Boatwright’s Dining Hall can be made beginning December 2nd. Character dining will return to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park when Tusker House reopens on June 20!
When you walk inside Tusker House you're stepping inside a lively Harambe marketplace eatery, the perfect surrounding to see Donald Duck and his friends dressed in their safari gear. Guests are encouraged to take pictures of Donald and his friends as they stroll throughout the dining rooms. The updated menu will be family-style, instead of a buffet, brimming with African-inspired flavors for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast will start with fresh fruit and a pastry basket containing the favorite, Safari Bread. The breakfast platter will have Mickey and Simba Waffles, Durban Chicken and Egg Curry with Jasmine Rice, potatoes, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and waffles. Lunch and dinner will start with an assorted bread basket and African-inspired salads. Entree options include Moroccan Spiced Beef, Berber Marinated Pork, Spit Roasted Herb Chicken, and Cape Malay Green Curry Shrimp. Sides include green beans, roasted potatoes, jasmine rice, and macaroni and cheese. Animal inspired mini dessert will end the meal. Those will kids who might be on the picky side will find comfort in classic offerings such as fruit and yogurt for breakfast and mac and cheese for lunch and dinner. To dine at an in-park table-service restaurant, you need a confirmed dining reservation for the total number of Guests—regardless of age, plus a park reservation and valid admission for the same park on that same date for each Guest ages 3 and up. Breakfast at Table Service restaurants in the Walt Disney World theme parks have been nonexistant ever since the parks reopened last July. Until now. It has been announced that breakfast is returning to a Table Service restaurant located in a theme park AND it is character dining favorite - Hollywood & Vine! Starting on March 22, 2021 guests will be able to wave at and snap photos of their favorite Disney Junior Characters while dining on a delicious and hearty à la carte breakfast at Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park.
The meal will start with a sharable pastry basket for the table which will include caramel monkey bread and mini muffins. Guests will be able to choose an individually plated breakfast entrée, such as the delicious French toast stuffed with chocolate-hazelnut spread or all-you-care-to-enjoy pancakes made with a signature house-made batter. Hollywood and Vine is also open for character dining at lunch and dinner as well! At Minnie's Seasonal Dining lunch and dinner guests can wave at and snap photos of Minnie Mouse and her friends in their seasonal outfits!
