 Bookings for 2024 Walt Disney World Resort hotel stays and packages will launch on May 31st. There are exciting updates for 2024 vacations!  Removing theme park reservation requirements for date-based tickets Starting with park visits on Jan. 9, 2024, theme park reservations will no longer be required for date-based tickets. You heard that right! When getting a ticket, simply select a start date for Jan. 9, 2024 or later, complete the purchase and you will be all set! For reference, date-based tickets are the standard ticket option we offer to guests. For other admission types, including non-dated tickets, theme park reservations may be required to help us continue managing attendance and delivering a great experience for everyone. Guests can check which admission types require park reservations by visiting DisneyWorld.com/ThemeParkReservations.  Fan-favorite Disney dining plans return Disney dining plans will be coming back as an option for those staying at Disney Resort hotels who purchase a vacation package with us starting with stays beginning Jan. 9, 2024. The dining plans are pre-paid and offer added convenience and peace of mind to Walt Disney World Resort vacations. There will be two options: the Disney Quick Service Dining Plan or the Disney Dining Plan. Both will be a great value with access to many spectacular food and beverage offerings across Walt Disney World.
Extended park time to Disney Resort hotel guests For those planning to stay at a Disney Resort hotel, the popular early theme park entry will continue for visits through 2024. This great benefit gives Guests a jump start on their day. For those staying at Disney Deluxe Resorts and Deluxe Villas, extended evening hours on select dates at select parks will continued to be offered through 2024. Early theme park entry and extended evening hours require valid theme park admission and a Resort ID.  Simplifying the Disney Genie+ experience

This means less time planning in the park and more time enjoying your visit with friends and family.  Enjoy complimentary self-parking when staying at a Disney Resort hotel
Overnight self-parking will once again be offered complimentary to guests staying at Disney Resort hotels at Walt Disney World. Disney Resort hotel guests also continue to receive complimentary standard parking at Walt Disney World theme parks, daily early theme park entry (with valid admission and a park reservation) and complimentary on-site transportation options such as buses, monorails and Disney Skyliner. Walt Disney World Annual Passholders: Park reservation requirements will be relaxed for visits after 2 p.m.* Beginning in the next few months, Walt Disney World Annual Passholders will be able to visit the theme parks after 2 p.m. without needing a park reservation, except on Saturdays and Sundays at Magic Kingdom Park. Pass blockout dates will continue to apply. While the theme park reservation system remains important to manage attendance in our parks, especially on busier days, we realize our Passholders enjoy more spontaneous visits – and this change will make that possible. Passholders will also receive access to Disney PhotoPass lenses and one complimentary Cinderella Castle Mural of Memories experience (age restrictions apply). Attraction photo downloads will be included with Disney Genie+ service Beginning in the next few months, guests purchasing Disney Genie+ service will also receive digital downloads of their Disney PhotoPass attraction photos, taken in the park on the day of their purchase, at no additional charge. Attraction photos are taken while in the parks at more than a dozen of our most popular attractions including Space Mountain, Slinky Dog Dash, Test Track, Expedition Everest and more. I always love looking back at family photos at our favorite attractions – it’s a perfect way to remember and celebrate your theme park visit together. An exact launch date will be announced at a later time. Memory Maker will still be necessary for unlimited digital downloads of pictures taken not on attractions - such as in front of Cinderella's Castle. To experience the extra hours at the theme parks, Guests will need a valid ticket or pass and a theme park reservation for the same park on the same day to experience extended evening hours. Or, guests may visit with a ticket or Annual Pass with the Park Hopper option as long as they entered their first park where they made their reservation earlier in the day.
