A New River Cruise Offering from ABD!

Adventures by Disney continues its commitment to family travel with two new river cruise itineraries to Holland and Belgium. Beginning in 2025, families can embark on the enchanting Holland & Belgium: Tulip Season River Cruise and the Holland & Belgium River Cruise become immersed in Dutch culture, history and old-world charm, or families can join an exclusive spring departure to experience the legendary tulip season. 

These new River Cruise itineraries will delight guests with historic landmarks and hands-on activities for the entire family.  ​Marvel at the works of true masters in art, engineering and gastronomy as you explore Holland and Belgium along the waterways and canals that have long been an integral part of Dutch and Belgian culture.  Both the traditional tour and the tulip tour include iconic 18th century windmills, canal cruises through time-honored neighborhoods, art, architecture, and classic food and drink tastings, as well as city excursions, a pottery activity, visits to castles, biking through the countryside and more — all designed to take guests into the heart of the area’s storied history and modern-day influence.  Savor local flavors of Belgian chocolate, beer and stroopwafels, as well as Dutch cheeses that have tantalized tastebuds the world over. The Holland & Belgium River Cruise will sail on the following dates in 2025:

• June 28 - July 5, 2025
• July 26 - August 2, 2025
• September 6 - September 13, 2025
• December 20 - December 27, 2025

The Tulip Season River Cruise offered April 13 - 20, 2025 will also highlight Holland and Belgium’s world-renowned floral beauty and industry, including stops at breathtaking gardens and a tulip farm.

Each eight-day, seven-night voyage, in collaboration with AmaWaterways, will be led by four Disney-trained Adventure Guides who take care of every detail and bring the destinations to life through masterful storytelling. Adventure Guides are great for making recommendations for meals and can’t-miss sites to visit when you have 'on your own time' or if you want to opt out on one of the included excursions. 

Families will enjoy the convenience of unpacking once as the river cruise ship serves as the hotel for the entire trip. Travel is also hassle-free with Adventures by Disney providing transportation—including all excursions, transfers and internal flights—as well as snacks (no hungry kids - or adults!) and an array of amenities on such transfer.

​Families of 4 can be in one river cruise stateroom together too! These spacious accommodations are designed with families in mind with 1 queen bed (or two twins if preferred) plus 1 queen sized sofa bed. Families are invited to experience this adventure with the minimum age requirement being 5 years old.  Young travelers, known as Junior Adventurers while on the River Cruise, can even choose to spend an evening together on their very own Adventure Guide-led activity. Teens aren't left out either. There’s always something happening—both on board and on shore—for teenaged Adventurers. From teen-only gatherings to unique dining experiences, there’s a host of exciting activities—plus, exhilarating excursions just in mind for them!

Meals are included (7 breakfasts; 6 lunches and 7 dinners) are included! You’ll discover onboard dining options that offer culinary fare and experiences to satisfy every appetite. All onboard lunches, dinners and daily themed happy hours offer complimentary wine, beer, spirits and soft drinks. ​
