Happy St. Patrick's Day! One of these days, we will be in Ireland on St. Patricks Day, it is on my travel bucket list. Also, it has to be with Adventures by Disney. I have gone on the RhineRiver Cruise adventure with Adventures by Disney and now I want to see the world with them and their vacation packages because that trip was so amazing! The Ireland Adventure is an 8 day, 7 night vacation that visits Dublin, Killarney, and Dromoland Castle. On the ABD Ireland you'll roam the hills of the country side to explore ancient castles, visit modern Dublin and have a vacation filled with traditional Irish experiences. You'll start your Adventure in Dublin at the airport with VIP service. An Adventures by Disney representative will greet you after you've gathered your bags and gone through customs. You'll be escorted to your transportation vehicle heading directly for your hotel (included in the cost of your trip). Once you arrive at the luxury hotel, you'll check in as an Adventure Guide takes your bags to your room (cost of the hotel is included in the trip). Arrive early and you'll have free time to explore the city of Dublin- or take this time to unpack, the choice is yours. Dinner that evening (included in the cost of the hotel) will be the Welcome Reception Dinner where you meet your guides and fellow Adventurers. Day 2 continues in Dublin starts with breakfast and then you're off for a private tour of Epic - The Irish Emigration Museum; tea and snacks at a local bakery; a private tour of Teeling Whiskey Distillery (with a tasting for adults!); and lunch at a local pub (all of these activities are included with your vacation cost!). You'll have the rest of the day to explore Dublin. Be sure to ask your Adventure Guides for recommendations on what to see and where to eat - they know the ins and outs of the city and have the best recommendations! Day 3 you'll pack up, leave Dublin and head to Cashel. Enjoy your breakfast while the Adventure Guides load your suitcases onto the buses (included). In Kilkenny, you'll participate in Ireland's national game of hurling - an ancient Celtic game that is over 3,000 years old. After the game you'll more than likely be hungry, and good thing because you'll have lunch with your fellow Adventurers (both the game activities and lunch are included). When you arrive in Cashel, a popular town in Tipperary County, you'll hike to Rock of Cashel, also known as St. Patrick's Rock, for a tour to learn about the the medieval buildings (cost of the exclusive tour is included!).
